Silly with a Message

A young kid meets some birds who are up to no good
as they usher him into their part of the wood.
They spin a fishy tale designed just for their gain
And, to him, well, this fact soon becomes very plain:

As you venture through life, you are likely to find
there are tricksters who might try to play with your mind.
So, be discerning and wise as you follow your course
and when advice is given, consider the source.

For without all the facts, well now it's a good bet—
you may have an outcome both smelly and wet!
